Ombudsman appointed to review IOAC Capacity Fund proposals
The PNCIMA Process Management Team has finalized the process for sector access to financial support through the IOAC Capacity Fund by appointing Jamie Alley as Ombudsman. The Ombudsman will review and process Capacity Fund proposals and forward his recommendations for approval to the PNCIMA Steering Committee.
Jamie is a natural resource and environmental management specialist with over 30 years experience in a broad range of senior and executive management positions. After a long career in the government of British Columbia, Jamie currently operates a natural resource management consulting firm, based in Victoria Canada with particular expertise in oceans and coastal resource management, freshwater and marine fisheries, and natural resource governance mechanisms. Jamie has extensive experience working with federal and provincial marine coordination processes. A geographer by training, he has degrees in geography and natural resource management from Simon Fraser University (BA 1974), and the University of Victoria (MA 1977).
